During a routine inspection

Patients told us they were treated with dignity and respect. One person told us, "I am 100% happy with what's happened. I have nothing negative to say". Another patient told us, "I was seen within seven days of being referred and the procedure was explained to me by my own doctor and the doctor here. I have signed consent forms and been given a sheet with advice on what to do next and to ring my doctor if there are any issues".

We looked at patient's records and treatment plans. They all contained an initial assessment from the patients own GP and a subsequent assessment from Preston Healthport. Relevant medical histories were in place.

Al the patients we spoke to said they felt safe whilst receiving treatment and that they had the opportunity to discuss any previous/current medical issues. All patient's signed a consent form prior to treatment which explained all the benefits as well as the possible risks of their procedure.

All patient's completed a survey after their treatment. 112 surveys had been completed during 2013, all of them were positive.
