During a routine inspection
We found patients were supported to make decisions about their care and treatment. A patient told us, 'The dentist advises me, they gave me a couple of options.'
We found people gave consent to their care and treatment and received care and support that met their needs. A patient told us, 'I think I get better treatment here than I have elsewhere, I am very relaxed.'
We found the premises were kept clean and there were suitable arrangements to prevent the spread of infection, although the layout was problematic and the toilet was unsuitable. A patient told us, 'Everywhere is always thoroughly clean.' The practice manager told us a decision had been taken to relocate the practice to more suitable premises so they could provide a more effective service.
We found the staff team were supported through training and the provider assessed and monitored the quality of the service. A patient commented on a survey form, 'Great staff and well run.'
