We carried out this assessment between 29 May and 4 June 2026. All About Care is a care at home agency that provides personal care to people living in their own homes. CQC only inspects where people are receiving the regulated activity personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we consider any wider social care provided.
At the time of this inspection 17 people were receiving support with personal care. This service had a registered manager in place.
People felt safe, with reliable visits, no missed calls, and consistent care from a regular team of staff. Risks were managed appropriately, and people and relatives were confident they could raise concerns and access support when needed.
Staff demonstrated a good understanding of people’s individual needs, preferences and routines. Care plans were detailed and supported the delivery of personalised care, enabling people to achieve positive outcomes and maintain their independence. Staff worked collaboratively with relatives and professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent care.
People described staff described as kind, respectful and compassionate. People felt treated with dignity and valued as individuals, and staff took time to provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships. Many relatives described staff as “like family,” reflecting the strong, trusting relationships developed.
The service was responsive to people’s needs, with care delivered flexibly and adapted to changes in people’s circumstances. People and their relatives felt listened to, involved in decisions, and confident that feedback would be acted upon. Continuity of care was promoted. People were supported by regular staff.
The service was well-led, with a positive and person-centred culture driven by a visible and supportive provider who was also the registered manager. Staff felt valued, supported and able to speak up, contributing to a culture of openness and continuous improvement. Effective governance systems were in place to monitor quality, gather feedback and drive improvements, and the provider worked well with partners to ensure coordinated care.
