During a routine inspection
We looked at the care records of four people who used the practice. These showed us that people's treatment options were discussed with them and their consent was gained before treatment was carried out.
During our visit we observed staff treating people in a kind, professional and respectful manner. The people we spoke with told us that they found the staff to be compassionate and sincere.
Appropriate personal protective equipment was available in all areas of the practice. The practice had systems in place to ensure people were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment, with a separate decontamination room that was restricted to staff only.
We saw that the practice had systems in place to protect people from the risk of harm and abuse and that quality assurance monitoring was carried out.
We saw that there was a complaints policy in place and that when a complaint was received it was responded to within the stated timeframe.
