People told us they had good relationships with the staff and that they felt comfortable with them. They told us that ' The staff are very good'; 'I don't know what we'd do without the staff they've become like friends'; 'We are quite satisfied with the staff the carers do a good job.' and 'Staff seem to listen as to how we want the care.'

Two people made comments about the support provided and these comments were shared with the providers and managers for the service so they could review their comments and suggestions to ihelp review their package of support.

We checked the systems in place to monitor the training and supervision of staff and the quality of care that people received. We found that improvements needed to be made to the records to ensure regular checks were in place to show how people were trained and supported in subjects necessary for their job. This service had only been registered for six months. We were shown plans by the managers and providers to improve the auditing of the service which was already in operation for another service within the company.
