During a routine inspection

We were unable to speak to patients as there were none when we visited the practice. We saw that the practice was clean and staff were friendly and professional. We noted that arrangements were in place to ensure that patients had information about the service and the fees before their treatment. There was evidence that treatment options were given to patients and that they were able to make decisions about their treatment.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Cleanliness and infection control was maintained at a high standard. Staff had attended an induction programme and had an opportunity to undertake further training. We noted that patients' notes were stored in electronic and paper formats. The electronic patients' notes were securely stored but the provider was planning to fit locks to the cabinets where the paper records were kept.
