During a routine inspection

During our visit to Addaction ' Gateway we met with staff and a person who used the service who was visiting the clinic on the day of our visit. We also reviewed a range of feedback from people who used the service. One person we spoke with told us staff treated them with dignity and respect and, "You don't feel like you are being judged. They're dead supportive".

We saw that people's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and that their treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. Staff at the service were knowledgeable about their role in relation to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children. There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs and the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
