During a routine inspection
We found that people were involved in planning their care and were informed of the care and treatment options available to them. People's needs were assessed before care was delivered and care was delivered in accordance with people's care plans. People's safety and welfare was taken in to account in the way care was planned and delivered. Staff were aware of their responsibility to protect people from abuse and had good knowledge about safeguarding vulnerable adults.
We found the provider had an effective recruitment process in place to ensure care workers had the necessary skills, experience and qualifications to do the job, and appropriate checks were carried out on staff before they began work. The provider had a variety of systems in place to monitor the quality of care and to check that people were happy with the way in which care was delivered.
