We found the practice had not met all regulations.

The practice infection control procedures did not reflect published guidance.

The practice did not have effective systems to ensure staff received appropriate support, training, and supervision.

Improvements were required to ensure that treatment provided to patients was adequately documented in the patient care records.

The practice had some systems to identify and manage risks which required improvement, including infection prevention and control, sharps safety and the management of medical emergencies.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

The practice is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.

The practice had 1 treatment room. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 4 staff, of which there were the principal dentist, 2 trainee dental nurses and 1receptionist. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this inspection.

People's experience of the service

Updated 30 December 2025

Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We did not receive any feedback. The practice encouraged patients to leave online reviews, and the overall feedback trend was positive.

The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
