During a routine inspection
We were not able to speak to people who had used the service directly to gain their views about the treatment they had received. We contacted three events hosts so that we could get their views about the services provided. We met with the provider, registered manager and a staff member.
We looked at three vehicles and found that they were clean, maintained and ready to use. We sampled records and found that some cleaning and safety checks had taken place which ensured the safety of the people who used the service.
Robust recruitment checks had not been carried out. People who used the service were not protected from the risk of unsuitable staff being employed.
Quality monitoring systems were not fully established so some risks to people had not been managed.
