During a routine inspection
All of the people we spoke with told us they were happy with the service provided. One person told us 'they talk to me and see what my needs are'. Staff told us 'we try to cater to their individual needs'. This meant care was provided to people in a way that they wanted.
People were protected from the risk of abuse because appropriate procedures were in place and staff had received training in this area. Staff told us 'If I suspected abuse I would report it straight away'. People told us that felt safe with their carers.
People told us that in general they felt that staff had enough time to spend with them, one person said 'they never leave without having done the job'. The manager told us they were on permanent rolling recruitment to ensure staffing levels were maintained.
People were fully protected from the risks of unsafe or inappropriate care and treatment because accurate and appropriate records were being maintained.
