During a routine inspection
People's needs were assessed and care was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. All records we looked at showed that people were appropriately assessed. Records demonstrated that care plans and risk assessments were devised resulting from people's initial assessment with the agency
People told us that they felt safe when receiving care. One person said "They are just amazing, I have total trust in them."
Appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work. We looked at six staff records and saw that care staff were subject to relevant safety checks.
People were made aware of the complaints system. This was provided in a format that met their needs. All people we spoke told us that they were issued with a "service user guide" when they were initially assessed by the agency.
