Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

We reviewed patient feedback from a number of sources, including on-line feedback, from people feeding back directly following appointments and from thank you cards sent to the practice. Patient feedback was consistently positive. Where patients had expressed they were not happy, this was responded to. For example, due to a shortage of dentists, some NHS patients were referred to the nearest sister practice. We saw that the provider had worked to recruit dentists to fill vacancies and those recruited will work to deliver NHS patient care and treatment.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
