During a routine inspection
People experienced treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. People's treatment and support plans contained a good level of information that ensured their needs were being met. We spoke with three people who used the service and they told us they were happy with the treatment and support they received. One person told us, 'They are very caring; my treatment is the right path for me. They never pressure or rush me.'
Prescriptions were given to people appropriately. People we spoke with said they received their prescriptions on time and when they needed it. One person told us, 'I always get my prescriptions on time and it is always correct.' The provider had clear guidance that outlined how prescriptions should be issued. Staff we spoke with said they had received appropriate training.
We found people were supported by sufficient numbers of qualified, skilled and experienced staff which met people's needs. People we spoke with said there were always enough staff to help them when they needed support.
There were quality monitoring programmes in place, which included people giving feedback about their care, support and treatment. This provided a good overview of the quality of the services provided.
