Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 6 patients. On the day of our inspection, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from 1 further patient. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.
Comments included, “Excellent, calm, and hygienic. Staff always make me feel comfortable and happy with the treatments. They provide a welcoming environment and always have people's best interests at heart.” Another patient told us, “The continuing investment in all aspects of this practice is of very high quality.[The principal dentists] professional development is constant and continuing - they strive always to increase and develop their knowledge and skills for the patients' benefit. So much thought, attention to detail and investment is evident in this practice.”
Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. One patient said, “The environment is spotlessly clean.”
Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. “I found the service, highly professional and organized. The staff were all friendly, the individual on reception knew I was coming and knew exactly what service I was to have and the dentist who was providing it. I saw the dentist at the appropriate time.”
Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.
Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given.
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
