The service delivers good, evidence‑based care and treatment that reflects current best practice. Staff use up‑to‑date assessments and recognised clinical guidance to ensure support is tailored to each person’s needs. For individuals who present with distress, monthly ABC analyses were completed to review patterns, triggers, and effective responses. This ensured that the strategies applied by staff were grounded in evidence, remain person‑centred, and consistently implemented across the team. As a result, staff were equipped to respond in a calm, informed, and effective manner, promoting improved outcomes and reducing the likelihood of escalation.

The service had effective systems in place to monitor, review, and improve outcomes for people. Staff used structured assessment tools, regular reviews, and ongoing observation to track progress and identify any emerging needs. Information was analysed to understand trends, evaluate the impact of interventions, and ensure support remains aligned with each person’s personal goals and desired outcomes. Learning from reviews was shared across the team, enabling consistent approaches and timely adjustments to care plans. There had been a noticeable reduction in incidents of distress for people, which meant individuals experienced greater emotional stability, improved day‑to‑day wellbeing, and a reduced potential risk of harm to injuring themselves or others. This proactive approach supported people to achieve positive, meaningful progress and drove continuous improvement in the quality of care delivered.
