Our view of the service

Outdoor Medical Solutions Limited provided high-dependency services, emergency 999 response and non-emergency patient transport services (NEPTS) including discharges, travel to appointments and between hospitals.

They also provided medical cover for events, such as motor racing, festivals, film and TV production which we do not currently regulate.

The provider was registered with CQC in 2013 to provide the regulated activities: transport services, triage and medical advice provided remotely, diagnostic and screening procedures, and treatment of disease, disorder or injury. There was a CQC registered manager responsible for the regulated activities provided by the service.

We carried out a comprehensive assessment of Outdoor Medical Solutions Limited on 17 to 18 November 2025.

We assessed 2 assessment service groups at this location: patient transport services where we assessed 32 quality statements, and emergency and urgent care where we assessed 32 quality statements.

For this assessment we visited the ambulance base and management office. We observed care and gathered the views of staff, leaders and health care professionals.
