During a routine inspection
People told us that their needs were assessed and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care. We saw documents that showed that there were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies. People were involved in running the service through the provider Patient Participation group that held meetings regularly.
The provider had a maintenance policy but had no records to show that the equipment had been maintained. Staff conducted daily checks on equipment and were trained in how to use the equipment safely.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet peoples' needs.
An effective complaints system was not in place. Staff told us there had been three complaints in the last 12 months however there was no evidence that the complaints had been investigated and resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant.
