Comments included 'they look after me very nice and properly', 'it's a very good team, they work efficiently and are very helpful' and 'can't fault them in any way'. One person's representative told us that the person had a fear of being hoisted. They said staff had been very reassuring when hoisting and they were confident staff knew how to do this properly.
We found that people's needs had been assessed and then a care plan had been produced. However, care plans lacked sufficient detail to say how individual people should be cared for.
We found staff had received appropriate professional development and were aware of the appropriate reporting processes should an allegation of abuse be raised.
The service had an effective quality assurance system.
