Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a highly positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

One patient told us, “I hugely appreciate the care and attention that is taken to ensure that mydental requirements are addressed in the very best fashion and with the highestlevel of professionalism.”

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. One patient commented, “[The specialist prosthodontist] is always very polite, professional and true to his word with what he can and cannot do. He provides an extremely high level of dental care and is brilliant at what he is able to achieve. His team follows his example and each works to his high standards too, whether that be by telephone or face to face.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. “I have always been welcomed with courtesy and warmth, and my dental treatment has been exemplary.” Another patient said, “From the reception team to the nurses and dentists, everyone is consistently very professional, welcoming and attentive. The practice runs smoothly and efficiently, and it’s clear that great pride is taken in maintaining a calm and caring environment.”

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected. One patient told us that the practice provided their son with a feeling of calm and safety, which was hugely important to them as their son had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. One staff member told us, “I love working here. The team is great, my manager is supportive, and I feel I’m learning every day.”
