We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 22 October 2025.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Lister House Iced Limited is in Marylebone, in the London Borough of Westminster. The practice is a specialist dental practice, providing private dental care and treatment for complex and remedial restorative dental treatment. The clinical director, who is a specialist prosthodontist, co-ordinated with various other specialists and consultants of different complementary disciplines, to offer multi-disciplinary specialist dental care.
There was step-free access to the practice through the use of a portable ramp and lift, and car parking spaces were available near the practice.
The practice had 2 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 6 staff, of which there were the clinical director, who was a specialist prosthodontist, a dentist (who was also the practice manager), 2 trainee dental nurses and 1 qualified dental nurse. Another associate dentist worked occasionally at the practice. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including the specialist prosthodontist, the dentist and practice manager, and 2 trainee dental nurses.
