During a routine inspection
People told us that the service was flexible to people's needs when providing care. Although the provider maintained people's privacy and dignity, the service did not verify those consenting on behalf of people had the right to do so.
Relatives of people all said they were happy with the care people received. Although we found the care people received met their needs, the provider had not updated their care plans to take into account any changes to their health.
People we spoke with did not have any concerns regarding the care people received. Although the provider was aware of its responsibilities for safeguarding vulnerable adults, carers had not been trained regarding the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
The provider undertook appropriate checks to ensure staff were eligible and qualified to meet people's needs.
People we spoke with had not complained about the service and all were confident in the manager to answer any concerns. The provider had an appropriate internal complaints procedure. However they did not have the correct referral information if people were unhappy with the response they received.
