Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 13 January 2026. Poole PET-CT Centre is based at an NHS Foundation trust and is owned and operated by Alliance Medical Limited. This service performs PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and CT (Computed Tomography) scans for NHS patients from all NHS Trusts in the geographical area.

This assessment looked at diagnostic and imaging services due an aged rating, which we had previously rated as requires improvement. The rating of Poole PET-CT Centre has improved to good.
