During a routine inspection

During our inspection we spoke with the nurse and clinic manager and observed two consultations. We saw that people received information, guidance and treatment in a caring and professional manner.

Following our inspection we spoke with one person who had used the service recently. They told us that they had been able to make an appointment at a time that suited them. People generally attended the clinic with pre-planned appointments booked by telephone.

We saw that people did not have to wait to be seen. This meant that people were seen in a timely manner.

Medical notes were kept as computer records in a secure environment. Consultation

rooms were private and ensured confidentiality and privacy.

People with mobility difficulties and very young children were able to access the clinic via a

passenger lift.

There was a quality monitoring system in place. Audits and monitoring information was collected to ensure the service met the required standards.
