Date of inspection: 20 August 2026 to 28 August 2026. Aspire Care Services Limited is a supported living service, providing support to adults under 65 years, people living with eating disorders, learning disabilities, dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairment and substance abuse. At the time of the inspection, 4 people were using the service.
At this inspection, the service has been rated good.
The inspection was carried out by 2 inspectors.
We have assessed the service against 'right support, right care, right culture guidance to make judgements whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability or autistic people, respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
We found people did have the same rights and responsibilities as other citizens. The service was supporting people within the guidelines of right support, right care and right culture.
Aspire Care Services Limited is a property with 6 individual bedrooms which people had tenancies for. There was a large living/dining room space which people shared. There was a small garden which was kept in good condition that people could use to relax in. The office was situated outside of the building, which ensured the house kept a homely feel about it.
The service had enough staff employed to keep people safe. Pre-employment checks were carried out to ensure recruitment was safe. Staff had received an induction at the beginning of their employment. They received relevant training throughout their employment to enable them to continue to support people safely.
At the time of the assessment there was no landlord led fire risk assessment in place. This left people at risk of living in a property that was not fully safety assessed. We raised this with the registered manager, who put measures in place to have the assessment conducted.
People had personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs) in place. These detailed the support a person would need to leave the service in the case of an emergency.
Staff understood how to treat people with kindness and respect. We saw genuine interactions between people and staff on site. People had control over how their medication was administered, when they received personal care, when they went shopping or had personal care.
Staff told us they were supported by the management team. There were full staff meetings every 2 to 3 weeks, and a lot of staff and management communication in between.
Managers worked well with external partners to ensure people received the relevant care and support they needed. We received positive feedback from external partners.
