Wisteria House (Plymstock) Dementia Care is a 'care home' that provides care and support to older people living with dementia. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as single package under one contractual agreement. The service accommodates up to 20 people in one adapted building. On the day of the on-site assessment there were 20 people living at the home. We carried out our on-site assessment on 15 December 2023, off site assessment activity started on 13 December 2023 and ended on 28 December 2023. We looked at 5 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes. At our last inspection the service was rated outstanding. At this assessment the service remains outstanding.
