During a routine inspection
As part of our inspection we also looked at three peoples care records. We saw evidence in each of the records we looked at that people who used the service or their representative had signed to give their consent for the care they were receiving.
The information in each care plan we looked at was person centred and included detailed information about peoples' preferred daily routine
The provider had systems in place to help prevent and control infections.
There were effective recruitment and selection processes in place.
New employees were supported in their role.
People who used the service, their representatives and staff were asked for their views about their care and treatment and they were acted on.
We also spoke with five relatives of people who used the service, their comments included:
'The carers are fantastic. They are on time' we get regular staff.'
'They (manager) are easy to talk to, very personable. We have no complaints.'
