Inspection carried out on 29 November and 6 December 2012

During a routine inspection

Before our visit we contacted NHS Bury to check if they had any concerns about the practice in relation to complaints and safeguarding. They confirmed that they did not.

Patients commented that the staff team were “very helpful” and “considerate.”

Patients told us that they were given information about any treatment they might need and were asked for their consent either verbally or in writing before treatment was carried out.

We saw that the dentist had emergency equipment and drugs in place and readily available to staff. Emergency packs were located on each floor and were dated and tagged. If used the emergency pack would be replaced within 24 hours.
