During a routine inspection

During our inspection we met with one person who used the service and spoke with two people on the telephone. We also spoke with three relatives, the manager who is also the provider and a staff member.

All the people we spoke with told us that they were very happy with the service. One person told us, 'I am really pleased with everything' and another person said, 'I am very satisfied the manager is very easy to talk to.'

People told us that their needs were being met. All the people we spoke with told us that they were happy with the staff and felt safe. There were systems in place to recognise and report any abuse so people were protected from the risk of harm.

All the people we spoke with said the manager and staff were friendly and helpful. We saw that systems were in place to ensure that only staff that were suitable to work with vulnerable people were recruited.

All the people we spoke with told us that if they were not happy about something they would speak with the manager. We saw systems were in place to monitor the quality of the service and to make improvements.

During a routine inspection

We met with the provider who was also the manager. They were only providing a service to a small amount of people living in their own home and there was only one employee.

We spoke on the telephone with three people who use the service, two relatives and a staff member.

People told us that they were happy with the service. One person told us, 'I am very happy with the care".

A relative told us, 'I am really pleased with the service and my relative likes the staff ".

People told us that they were involved in agreeing their care plan so they get the care in a way that they prefer.

People told us they felt safe with the staff that cared for them. We saw that the provider had systems in place to respond to allegations of abuse so that people were protected from the risk of harm.

People told us they were very happy with the care they had received. They told us that they knew who to speak with if they had any concerns and were confident that they would be listened to.
