During a routine inspection
We saw that regular reviews were carried out by the manager to ensure care plans were current and relevant to people's needs
One relative we spoke with said "The staff are excellent. They show commitment and are very caring'.
One person's friend commented "I feel my friend is safe but if I had any concerns I would tell the manager.' However we found people who use the service were not always protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had not taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening
We looked at a sample of staff records. We found that appropriate checks were made during the recruitment process.
We saw that the provider used a variety of methods to monitor the quality of service provided to people. These included the manager telephoning people monthly to see if they are happy with their worker and the care given.
