This assessment was conducted remotely between 20 March to 12 April 2026. Caring Heart and Hands LTD is a domiciliary care agency registered to provide personal care to people in their own homes. At the time of inspection, they were providing support to 33 people with physical disabilities and dementia. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects services where personal care is provided this includes assistance with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where applicable, any wider social care provided is also considered. This assessment was carried out due to the age of the rating for the service. The service was last inspected 25 May 2018.
People were protected from abuse and avoidable harm. The provider had a positive learning culture and systems to record, investigate and respond to accidents, incidents and safeguarding concerns. These systems were used effectively, and lessons were shared with staff to support continuous learning and improvement.
Care and support were effective and outcomes were consistently positive. People’s needs were assessed comprehensively before care commenced and were reviewed regularly to ensure support remained appropriate and responsive to change. Staff worked in line with evidence‑based practice and in partnership with health and social care professionals to ensure joined‑up care and continuity.
The registered manager had clear governance arrangements and used audits, feedback and performance information to monitor quality and drive improvements. The culture was open, inclusive and supportive, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing and development.
