During a routine inspection

We were not able to speak to any patients who had used the service as there were none available at the time of our visit. However, we reviewed comment cards that had been completed by patients and submitted to the provider. Comments showed that patients were very happy with the service they received. Patients were satisfied with the skills demonstrated by ambulance staff. For example, one patient said, 'I was comfortable with the way I was transferred.' Another patient commented that a staff member was 'very careful in his driving.'

Equipment used by the service was properly maintained and suitable for its purpose. There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Accurate records were kept by the provider and these were stored securely.
