During a routine inspection
People described the service they received as "brilliant" and "excellent and couldn't be better".
Assessment and care plans were in place that people using the service were involved in developing and reviewing. This demonstrated that people experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.
People who use the service told us they felt safe. However we found that although staff had received training there was a lack of knowledge and understanding on issues relating to safeguarding. Some staff needed an updating of their mandatory training. We saw limited evidence of support to staff following induction to ensure their skills and competencies met the needs of people.
People we spoke to were complimentary about the care they received and surveys supported this.
