During a routine inspection
Dr Hafiz's Dental Surgery provided people with appropriate information about their treatment and provided that treatment in a way that maintained people's privacy and dignity, respected their choices and supported them by employing competent and appropriately trained staff. The provider also had systems in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
We found that the areas accessible to people using the service such as the treatment rooms and waiting room areas appeared clean and tidy. The practice had a member of staff who was designated as the lead infection control person and there were clear procedures in place for the decontamination of equipment.
