During a routine inspection

We spoke with all three dentists, one of whom was the registered provider. We also spoke with the dental nurse and the receptionist. We found that dental care was provided according to people's assessed needs and people were asked for their views about the service. People were consulted about their treatment and were given sufficient information to make informed choices. One person using the service told us that "They always explain clearly to me". We spoke with five people who told us they were happy with the service. One person described the dentist on duty as "an excellent dentist" and told us they had recommended the practice to friends.

We found that staff were supported, trained, experienced and had the skills required to provide safe and effective care. There were procedures in place to ensure equipment was properly maintained and sterilised so that it was safe to use and protected people from health care acquired infections.
