During an assessment under our new approach

We undertook a follow-up inspection of All Clear Dental Centre on 28 January 2026. This was carried out to review the actions taken by the registered provider to improve the quality of care and to assess whether the practice was meeting legal requirements.

We had previously undertaken an announced on-site inspection of All Clear Dental Centre on 19 November 2025. We had found the registered provider was not providing well-led care and was in breach of regulation 17 good governance of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.

During our follow-up inspection, we found the practice had met regulations.

The practice now had effective systems to identify and manage risks including fire safety.

In addition, recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there were effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

The practice is in Croydon and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

Car parking spaces were available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.

The practice had 3 treatment rooms. We spoke to the principal dentist and the practice manager during the inspection.

During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this announced inspection on 19 November 2025.

We found the practice had not met all regulations.

The practice had systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control. However, improvements were required to ensure property compliance was dealt with appropriately. For example, in regard to fire safety management.

The service lacked a culture of continuous improvement and there were ineffective systems in place for governance and oversight.

Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.

Improvements were required to ensure that recruitment checks were carried out for all staff employed.

Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.

The practice is in the London Borough of Croydon and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.

Car parking spaces were available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, near the practice.

The practice had 3 treatment room. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 13 staff, of which there were 2 dentists, 3 hygienists, 3 nurses, 1 trainee nurse, 3 receptionists and a practice manager. We spoke to the dentists, 2 nurses a receptionist and the practice manager during the inspection.

The provider was not complying with all regulations. Full details of the regulation the provider was not meeting are within the inspection report.

We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this inspection.
