Kindness, compassion and dignity

The practice was exceptional at treating patients with kindness, empathy, and compassion and in how they respected patient’s privacy and dignity. Staff always treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.

The practice had arrangements to promote patient’s privacy. The practice performed better than the national average in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. This showed patients felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness. For example, 84% of respondents to the survey felt the healthcare professional at their last appointment was good at treating them with care and concern, compared to a national average of 86%. From January 2026 to June 2026, Friends and Family Test feedback showed that the majority of patients reported a positive experience, with 94% rating the service as good or very good (70% very good (654 responses) and 24% good (227 responses)). A small number of patients rated their experience as neutral 3% (26 responses) or poor 3% (27 responses), and 0% (3 responses) selected ‘don’t know’.
