During an assessment under our new approach
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 27 May 2026.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
E-Line Orthodontics is in the London borough of Marylebone and provides private orthodontic dental care and treatment for adults and children.
There was step-free access to the practice through the use of a portable ramp and lift, and there were various public transport links available near to the practice.
The practice had 5 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 9 staff, of which there were 2 specialist orthodontists (one of whom was the registered manager), 1 specialist oral surgeon, 2 orthodontic therapists, 1 dental hygienist, 1 laboratory technician, 1 patient co-ordinator and the practice manager. The practice routinely used a temporary dental nurse. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including an orthodontist (who was also the registered manager), an orthodontic therapist (who was also the clinical lead), the patient co-ordinator and the practice manager.
