We checked that people who use this service

How this check was done

We reviewed all the information we have gathered about Hyde Park Healthcare Limited t/a Hyde Park Care, carried out a visit on 13 December 2012, talked with carers and / or family members and talked with staff. We received feedback from people using comment cards.

Our judgement

People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.

Reasons for our judgement

Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people’s safety and welfare. Relatives of people using the service described the service as "excellent" and said they were "very happy" with it. When people first started using the service details of any medical needs were taken and full risk assessments were completed to make sure that people were safe. These were reviewed on an annual basis or more often if needed.

There were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies. Staff had been trained in first aid. There were policies and procedures in place for what to do in emergency situations which staff were aware of.
