Our judgement

People’s views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care.

Reasons for our judgement

People expressed their views and were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. They were asked about their choices and preferences for how they wanted to be cared for and supported when they first started using the service. Relatives of people using the service told us that staff provided care and support in the way that they wanted them to. People's diversity and values were respected. They had a choice about the gender of their carer. Carers were able to speak the language of people that they were looking after and were able to accommodate their cultural needs such as their preferences around food or religious activities.
