Governance, management and sustainability
The service had a management structure in place with defined roles and responsibilities. The provider had strong governance and good oversight of quality and safety. Audits were in place for day-to-day care through an electronic care planning system. Regular audits and reviews were completed in key areas, such as care plans, recruitment and care records. There was evidence of action planning in response to issues found. Overall management and senior management audits were in place including quarterly risk analysis reviews. The provider obtained feedback from people through surveys, online reviews and regular care reviews. This helped the provider measure the quality and safety of the service.
