At the inspection on 11 May 2026, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation:

We saw that most actions arising from a fire risk assessment had been completed, and any remaining actions had been planned. The emergency lights were being tested monthly, in line with guidance.

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) had been completed to ensure the electrical system and wiring in the building was safe.

Improvements had been made to the recruitment process. We saw that evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B and proof of conduct in previous employment were now being obtained. Staff had a structured, documented induction.

The practice had recently started using a computerised compliance system, which will enable them to ensure that staff training, including continuing professional development, was up-to-date and reviewed at the required intervals.
