During a routine inspection
People had their needs assessed and were being supported to develop skills to meet these needs. Staff described how they supported one person to go to college and another person to go fishing. People told they knew and liked their support workers who arrived on time and helped them with things they needed help with. People said they felt safe with support staff who demonstrated a good understanding of abuse and the procedures to follow if an allegation of abuse were made. Money managed on behalf of people was held safely and securely.
Some staff had been recruited in a robust way and had received training appropriate to their role. One member of staff had not. Records were held securely and were detailed. Other records had not been completed or were incomplete. This included records in relation to decision making, financial transactions, care plans, training and recruitment.
