During a routine inspection

We spoke with two people who were using the service for baby scanning, and read the written testimony of a further three people online. We found that people were satisfied with the service and treatment they had received. Comments from people included, "I used the service a few weeks ago for someone else, I came back here as I was satisfied last time', and, "Very good service."

We identified that people were treated politely and with respect. Their dignity was maintained during their procedure.

We found that people were given a range of information that would help them decide if the treatment offered at the clinic was suitable for them.

We saw that processes were followed to determine people's general health or risks prior to treatments being offered.

We found that checking processes for infection prevention and instruments (for gynaecological examinations) had improved to prevent any risk to people.

We saw that a complaints process was available for people to access if they were not happy with the service that had been provided.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with three people who were using the service for baby scanning, and read the written testimony of a further six people online. We found that people were satisfied with the service and treatment they had received. Comments from people included, "I used the service before with my first baby and came back here as they are good', and "Excellent service."

We found that people were given a range of information that would help them decide if the treatment offered at the clinic was suitable for them.

We saw that processes were followed to determine people's general health or risks prior to treatments being offered.

We found that checking processes for infection prevention and instruments (for gynaecological examinations) were not adequate and needed improvement to prevent any risk to people.

Recruitment processes were adequate for the staff working at the clinic at that time. Current staff had all been employed prior to the provider being registered with us.

We found that systems were in place to check the overall quality of the service and satisfaction of those who used it.
