Rosedale Care Home provides care and support for up to 20 people, some who may be living with dementia. At the time of our inspection 19 people were using the service.

We found the following examples of good practice.

The home had purchased handheld two way portable radios to enhance communication during window visits. In addition, a further two computer tablets had been purchased to support people in maintaining contact with family and friends.

A room sanitising machine was used daily to deep clean all rooms and communal areas.

Staff used equipment to help identify symptoms of the National Early Warning Signs tool, (NEWS2). This tool detects early deterioration in people and supports requests for medical intervention and advice.
