We spoke with six people to whom this agency provided a service.

Five of the six people that we spoke with said that they had regular care workers who visited them.

Everyone that we spoke with expressed satisfaction with the care workers who visited them. They also told us they were happy with the care they received.

People also told us that the care workers mostly arrived on time.

Three of the six people we spoke with expressed satisfaction with communication by the agency and three did not.

All six people that we spoke with said that they had never had to make a formal complaint. Three of the people that we spoke with said that they did not know the agency's formal complaint process but said that they would telephone the agency office if unhappy.

During an inspection looking at part of the service

We spoke with nine people and or their relatives. Half of the people we spoke with said they had given consent to the agency to provide a service and that the care, treatment and service they received had been discussed with them.

All people that we spoke with said that care workers respected their privacy, dignity and independence.

The majority of people told us they had been involved in making decisions about the care they received.

Everyone said that they were happy with the support care workers provided.

The main issue people told us about was call times. This included call times being changed without people being consulted and calls being late or missed.

One relative told us that two care workers should visit their family member but this did not always happen.

Over half the people we spoke with said that they had regular care workers who visited them. Some people said that they did not. One person said they would have preferred to have the same care workers but that the agency could not provide this.

Everyone that we spoke with confirmed that they had been given a copy of their care plan.

Some people did not know the agency's formal complaints procedure but knew of other ways to raise issues with the agency.
