At the inspection on 14 May 2026, we found the following:

Improvements had been made to the systems for checking medical emergency equipment and medicines. All medical emergency equipment and medicines were available and in-date. We noted the Glucagon, a drug used to treat low blood sugar, was not readily accessible as it was stored in a locked fridge. The practice submitted evidence following the inspection that this had been addressed.

Improvements had been made to the governance and oversight of radiation protection. In particular, ensuring the recommendations from electromechanical servicing reports had been acted upon.

The management of fire safety had improved. Most of the recommendations from the fire risk assessment from February 2025 had been addressed, including the installation of a new fire detection and emergency lighting system. The practice should ensure they continue to work through the fire risk assessment recommendations.
