Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Staff in the paediatric clinic had created resources to support children to receive care. These included posters and personalised letters from the tooth fairy, using toys to facilitate role-play which supported children to understand their treatment.

Additional appointment time was scheduled to enable children to be familiarised with the surgery environment and equipment.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.

The dentists could use a computer assisted anaesthesia system. This enabled single teeth to be anaesthetised more comfortably with no numbness of the surrounding lip, tongue or cheek.
