During a routine inspection
We found the premises that people, staff and other visitors used were safe and suitable and that there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet the needs of people who used the service. The service had an effective complaints system available. We found that no complaints had been made in the last twelve months; however we did see that the policy clearly defined how complaints would be handled and responded to.
We found that people who used the service were not protected from the risks of unsafe or inappropriate care and support because records retained were not always accurate and fit for purpose.
Staff we spoke with told us that they felt support was offered, not only to tenants, but also to staff "There is alot of peer support we are all here for each other." A member of staff we spoke with told us "We offer alot of support and in my eyes assessments should not just be paper based, it is an ongoing assessment by making contact and offering support."
