During a routine inspection

At the time of this inspection there was only one person who used the service. We spoke with this person. They told us they liked the staff. They said the staff "knew the routine and their work was good". However there had been occasions over the last month when staff had not arrived to provide the care and support agreed. No explanation was offered about this.

They also told us they were never asked for their views about the care and support provided.

Recruitment procedures were robust. The provider carried out pre employment checks on all staff. This minimised risk to people who used the service.

In this report the name of a registered manager appears who was not in post and not managing the regulatory activities at this location at the time of the inspection. Their name appears because they were still a Registered Manager on our register at the time. You can see our judgements on the front page of this report.

Inspection carried out on 16 November 2012

During a routine inspection

At the time of our visit, two people were receiving a service form Asoka Care. We haven�t been able to speak to people using the service but we did speak to one person�s relative. The relative we spoke with told us they were satisfied with the service. They told us the staff were very good and always arrived at the times they were supposed to. The agency could be contacted at any time. We looked at care and assessment records and found these to be reflective of people's individual needs and preferences. Staff spoken with said they received the training and support they needed.
